Glasses are about to come back in a very big way, reports Anne Eisenberg, just as soon as companies like SBG Labs work out the kinks in a new pair of frames that can deliver a digital readout of vital information right to the wearer's eyes -- without obscuring their field of vision. The glasses could provide directions home or remind the wearer of an acquaintance's name, Eisenberg writes. Companies looking to market these new tech specs better move quickly; researchers at the University of Washington are already tinkering on contacts that do the very same thing.
