Fuel-oil company bets on wood-chip renaissance

Fuel-oil boilers could one day be forced to make way for clean-burning wood-pellet systems, according to Timothy Van Epps, president of Massachusetts fuel-oil company Sandri. Van Epps is branching out into supplying wood pellets and boiler conversions, which he says have the potential to be cleaner and cheaper than fossil-fuel systems.
