Instructor with cerebral palsy offers lessons to future special educators

Wilson Buswell, who has cerebral palsy, is the co-instructor of a course for special-education teachers at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. Buswell's co-teacher, associate professor Christi Kasa-Hendrickson, believes in modeling inclusive education for her students and teaching them to be at ease in the company of people with severe disabilities. "Lots of people have a guest speaker, but I thought a long-term presence will create change," she said.
