Study investigates link between chocolate, depression

A study of 931 healthy adults showed that those who were "possibly depressed" ate 8.4 servings of chocolate a month, while those who were most likely to be depressed had 11.8 servings per month. The findings suggest that "there could be short-term benefits of chocolate to mood, with longer-term untoward effects," researchers said.
