Suspicious bag detonated inside Philadelphia airport

Airport police evacuated Terminal A at Philadelphia International Airport after an unattended briefcase was found about 7 p.m. Monday. The bag was eventually enclosed by a blasting shield and detonated inside the terminal by the bomb squad. Authorities later determined that the bag contained no explosive materials, and normal operations resumed at PHL by late Monday night.
