Garuda Indonesia will double its service from Jakarta, Indonesia, to Bangkok on June 17. The twice-daily flights will be on a Boeing 737-800NG outfitted with individual touchscreen TVs with audio-video on demand entertainment systems. "Passenger travel to Jakarta continues to grow and with the additional flight, we will have the ability to better meet our customers' needs," said Bambang Sunan, the airline's general manager for Thailand, Myanmar, Laos and Cambodia.
