Inclusive program benefits all, educators say

Glenn Dale Elementary School is one of seven schools in Prince George's County, Md., that educates students with autism in inclusive classrooms with supports. Educators say the inclusion policy has led to improved social skills for the students with autism and has had benefits for the students without disabilities, as well. "We're building a generation of students who are more accommodating of everyone's uniqueness," principal Lia Thompson said.
