NPD report predicts Canadian food trends

A report from NPD Group says eating trends in Canada during the next 10 years likely will differ by generation, with baby boomers seeking more convenience food and those who are 18 and younger skipping more meals. "Understanding the forecast, along with the consumer groups who drive the forecast, will enable food and beverage companies to develop long-range plans," said an NPD analyst.
