Obama asks Congress to repeal subsidies for oil companies

President Barack Obama wrote to Congress urging a repeal of government subsidies for oil and gas producers. Obama said he was "heartened" to learn that House Speaker John Boehner, R-Ohio, is open to eliminating tax breaks for big oil companies.
