Retail sales in Poland jump 9.4% in March

Poland's economy appears to be improving, according to retail sales and unemployment data for last month. Retail sales beat market expectations to post a 9.4% gain, according to the Central Statistical Office. The data are expected to feed into the central bank's discussions on raising interest rates.
