Study: Young CEOs' ambition is a mixed blessing

Young leaders have a much different management style than their older counterparts, a study suggests, and may actually be better than graying bosses at such tasks as increasing assets, implementing major strategic overhauls and boosting operating efficiency. Still, researchers say, there are also indications that young CEOs tend to be more interested in building names for themselves than in building sustainable businesses.
