Verizon, cable companies lash out at T-Mobile USA

Verizon Wireless has teamed up with cable operators in asking federal regulators to dismiss T-Mobile USA's move to block the sale of advanced wireless spectrum to Verizon. The three operators and Verizon told the Federal Communications Commission that T-Mobile had contradicted comments it made "only months ago" when the carrier was lobbying in favor of its sale to AT&T. Also, two House Democratic lawmakers said they would seek a hearing on the $3.9 billion agreement.
