Why leaders must make time for strategy

After moving into a leadership position, it can be hard for some people to let go of the tasks that they previously worked on, John Baldoni writes. It's a good idea to use the "80/20" rule, which stipulates that about 80% of one's time should be spent on looking to the future. "Devote the time you once spent on tactics on thinking longer term," Baldoni advises.
