Md. university offers education major focusing on middle grades

Towson University in Maryland offers a middle-school education major focusing on instructing students in fourth through ninth grades. Students take classes tailored to the age group and intern in middle schools throughout Baltimore County. "It takes a teacher with a lot of flexibility. The kind of person that can be completely planned for anything, knows how to have no down time in the classroom and love all of the quirks and all of the changes that adolescents go through," Walter Mills, with Towson University, said.
