Prozac taken by pregnant women could have negative effect on fetus

The antidepressant is cited in a new study as having a negative effect on fetal development when taken by pregnant women. Normal doses of Prozac can cause babies to be born lighter and sleepier than normal, while others may have respiratory problems or shorter gestational periods, the panel appointed by the National Toxicology Program reported.
