Harvard teams work with schools to write practical guide on data use

The faculty members and students who wrote "Data Wise: A Step-by-Step Guide to Using Assessment Results to Improve Teaching and Learning," which will be published this November, spent time in Boston schools to ground their work in reality. To help educators understand how the "improvement cycle" of information use and evaluation works, the book includes sample plans for a fictional elementary school and high school.
