Survey: Outpatient doctors, hospital doctors differ on tablet PCs

A survey by Spyglass Consulting Group found that more than three-quarters of outpatient-physician respondents said tablet PCs were suitable for use at the point of care. Hospital-based doctors and nurses, however, said they were not appropriate. "They ask where you are going to put the devices down," said an official with Spyglass Consulting.
