New York workers flee low-flying jet

A low-flying presidential aircraft trailed by fighter jets awakened memories of Sept. 11, 2001, in New York workers, who fled their office buildings yesterday. The Boeing 747 bearing "United States of America" was flying over lower Manhattan as part of a photo opportunity, but the FAA had asked officials not to notify the public of the event. The White House later issued an apology.
