Patients tired of ER waits opt for urgent care centers

More people are turning to urgent care clinics for non-life-threatening medical emergencies rather than waiting for hours in hospital ERs. Hospitals are working to improve their wait times to recapture some of these patients and lost revenue. The Urgent Care Association of America is creating a list of criteria to let people know what they can expect from an urgent care center.
