Sources: Criminal investigation of AIG focuses on trio of managers

The criminal investigation of American International Group's derivatives business is focusing on three managers -- Joseph Cassano, who has left the firm, and Andrew Forster and Tom Athan, who are still on the AIG payroll -- according to people familiar with the matter. Cassano ran AIG's Financial Products group in London until his departure last year. During the period under investigation, Forster was an executive in London and Athan worked in the Financial Products unit in Connecticut, people familiar with the matter said.
