Supreme Court to consider private-school placements

A case before the U.S. Supreme Court this week may expand private-school placements of students with special needs if the justices rule in favor of parents who say allocation of public funds should not require students to spend time in the public-school system. Some school administrators fear such a ruling would cause special-education costs to skyrocket.
