EADS win on tanker contract would be big boost for firm's U.S. revenue

In a scenario that couldn't have been imagined just a few months ago, European aerospace giant EADS is now pursuing a solo bid for the U.S. Air Force's $35 billion replacement program for the KC-135 tanker aircraft. Winning the contract would represent the single most important step for EADS in expanding its U.S. revenue.
