JetBlue reports $1M loss on higher expenses

A pricey new reservation system pushed JetBlue to a surprising first-quarter loss, despite a 3.8% rise in yield per passenger mile. Traffic, capacity and load factor all showed improvement for the quarter, but $15 million in one-time costs for the reservation system helped shrink operating margins by nearly 50%.
