Jumeirah group plans 10 new hotels, new brand

Hotel developer Jumeirah Group, owned by the Dubai, United Arab Emirates, government, plans to open as many as 10 new hotels in the next 18 months in locations including Frankfurt, Kuwait, the Maldives, the United Arab Emirates and Shanghai. In posting strong results for the first quarter, the company said it also plans to launch a new brand called VENU Hotels later this year.
