Analysis: Computer-training effort highlights digital divide

A collaborative two-year training program between Microsoft and state governments is providing insight on how big the digital divide is on a national basis and how much work needs to be done to provide rural broadband access and improve computer literacy in many states, according to this article. Microsoft provided 880,000 free e-learning and certification exam vouchers as part of the effort.
