The key to effective blended learning

Incorporating online instruction does not mean that face-to-face interaction between teachers and students will end, says middle-school teacher Heather Wolpert-Gawron. In fact, she writes in this blog post, a teacher's relationship with students is a key component to the success of online learning. She suggests five components needed for effective blended learning, including real-time assessments and offering students the choice to interact online or in person.
