School budgets pass in most N.J. districts

New Jersey voters approved school budgets in nearly 80% of districts, according to results from Wednesday's votes. This year's budget proposals reflected a new 2% cap on tax increases, plus $250 million in new state aid for schools. The results are in contrast to last year's results, in which voters rejected 59% of schools' financial plans.
