Cencosud faces the effects of dollar-buying rules in Argentina

Chile-based retail conglomerate Cencosud is concerned about new restrictions in Argentina on dollar buying, efforts aimed at stemming a black market that has driven down the value of the Argentine peso. Cencosud generates about 25% of its overall revenue in Argentina, where it operates Jumbo supermarkets, malls, department stores and home-improvement shops.
