Inequities in teacher pay seen in some Ariz. districts

After years of salary freezes from budget cuts, some school districts in Arizona are paying newly hired teachers more than existing employees with the same experience and education. While some teachers are upset that colleagues with the same credentials are being paid more, officials defend the practice because they say they need to attract new talent.
