Men's sports app usage surges with major events

This year's Super Bowl and the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament produced sharp increases in men's use of sports-streaming applications, according to an Arbitron Mobile study. During the March Madness tournament, 18.4% of all men accessed a sports streaming app, with usage among men averaging more than an hour a month, almost double the total time the average woman spent watching.
