Panel seeks ways to reduce groundwater accumulation at Fukushima Daiichi

An expert panel formed by the Japanese government began taking steps to reduce the accumulation of radioactive water at the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant in Japan. Approximately 400 tons of groundwater leaks into the plant daily. The measures include encasing the damaged reactor buildings to prevent the entry of water.
