Should online, traditional schools receive the same funding?

In Ohio and elsewhere, the growth of online schools -- in which students learn over the Internet -- has drawn criticism from some who say such schools should not be subject to the same funding formulas as traditional schools. Online schools, critics say, do not incur the same costs as traditional schools, such as busing. However, proponents of online education say e-schools have additional costs, such as the those associated with mailing materials and socialization for students.
