110 groups, companies declare lobbying on EPA's power plant rules

At least 110 companies and trade organizations have reported lobbying Congress on the Environmental Protection Agency's power plant rules during the first quarter. More than half of the industry groups said they specifically lobbied on companion bills proposed by Sen. Joe Manchin, D-W.Va., and Rep. Ed Whitfield, R-Ky., aimed at curbing the EPA's regulatory reach on power plants' carbon emissions.
