Details emerge about Facebook's mobile ad network

Facebook is expected to announce the launch of its mobile-advertising network, called the Facebook Audience Network, at its f8 conference next week. FAN will rely on the personal information Facebook has on its users to better target ads based on interests. Application developers will be able to integrate FAN code, and advertisers will be able to order custom ad units that fit their apps, according to this report.
