Maine launches field test of computer-based exams

About 25,000 students throughout Maine are participating this spring in a field test of computer-based Smarter Balanced exams. The field tests come as the state prepares to replace its existing standardized assessments. Officials say it's possible that as many as 20% of test questions could be reworked or scrapped.
