Study links work-life policies to career advancement

Research from the IBM Smarter Workforce Institute has identified a link between policies that promote work-life balance and rapid progress up the corporate ladder. The study, based on men and women in the U.S. and U.K., found that people who made use of flexible working arrangements were more likely to have been promoted multiple times during the previous five years.
