Virginia "turnaround specialist" program intends to fix schools

Virginia officials have picked the University of Virginia as the site for an innovative new training program that will allow a select number of high-performing principals to earn a credential as a "turnaround specialist." Successful participants will be expected to accept leadership positions at a low-performing schools.
