Editorial: Congress' help needed to save Net radio

Saying Web radio could otherwise be largely "silenced," the Rocky Mountain News is calling on Congress to intervene with the Copyright Royalty Board to reduce a royalty hike that most small- to mid-sized Net radio outlets can't afford to pay. "Congress should overturn the royalty board's decision and come up with a system, much like the current one, which has allowed streaming audio to blossom," the editorial says.
