MySpace: Users may opt out of targeted ad system

MySpace users will be able to opt out of its new HyperTargeting ad system, which allows marketers to direct targeted campaigns at users based on interests as expressed on their profile pages. The system in early tests has generated a 300% jump in the click-through rate for an ad, according to this article.
