Nobel winner urges tourism industry to adapt to prevent climate change

The tourism industry must cut its impact on climate change, Nobel Peace Prize recipient Rajendra Pachauri said. Pachauri noted that consumers are becoming more aware of the effect of travel on the environment. "I would appeal to you and urge you to take steps so that you are seen not as the problem but as part of the solution," said Pachauri, who heads the UN's Nobel Prize-winning climate panel.
