Grilling pizza is a great alternative to fire-roasting the pies in a wood oven, say some chefs and grilling gurus. Al Forno Restaurant in Providence, R.I., was one of the first to try the trick in the 1980s. Recipes to try: Smoked chorizo pizza with caramelized onions and arugula, and White pizza with clams, crispy pancetta and slivered garlic.
