Agency says Canada headed for 22% export decline, worst on record

The value of Canada's exports is projected to drop 22% this year, the most severe decline on record, says the government agency Export Development Canada. Although every industry is feeling the effects of plunging exports, said EDC chief economist Peter Hall, "there's a substantial percentage that is coming from the auto sector -- it's over half of the decline."
