Construction proceeds on $5.3M green roof in Minneapolis

The Minneapolis Target Center will soon flaunt the largest green roof in Minnesota. The roof, which will cost $5.3 million, will last up to 50 years, compared with 20 years for a conventional roof. The city is paying for the project, which is expected to aid storm water retention and lower utility bills.
