General Mills wants bloggers to stay positive

General Mills is getting the word out about new products via a blog network called MyBlogSpark that provides more than 900 bloggers -- the vast majority are mothers -- with product samples and news releases. Participating bloggers are required to contact the network before posting a product review that is not positive. A representative of Coyne Public Relations, which developed the network with General Mills, said this is a way of getting feedback and not a requirement to post only upbeat reviews.
