How many ads do ad-skippers skip?

Research to be released Friday shows TV viewers skip about 6% of commercials using DVRs, and fast-forwarding the trend to 2011, about 16% of the ads will be missed. DVR Research Institute's "Advertising in the DVR Age" projects the number of DVR users will grow from 30 million to 50 million by the end of 2011.
