Many find job fairs too crowded, jobs too few

Job fairs that focus on midcareer candidates are popping up more frequently around the country, but many people say they aren't very helpful. When the recruitment events are overcrowded, applicants can't get individual attention. Meanwhile, many employers turn up to generate goodwill, but have no job openings.
