Western Australia moves closer to Gorgon approval

The Environmental Protection Agency of Western Australia said it may give the green light to Chevron's $35 billion Gorgon natural gas project if the company meets stringent environmental standards. Chevron said it will decide later this year whether to move forward with the massive liquefied natural gas project, which could begin production by 2014.
