First-quarter profits for Agco fell 70% to $10.1 million, or 10 cents a share, compared with $33.7 million, or 36 cents a share, a year earlier. Even though growth occurred in Brazil and Latin America, it could not offset softer markets in Europe and North America. Revenue decreased 13% to $1.33 billion, slightly below analysts' expectations of $1.34 billion. Shares were down 6.3% to $37.28 Wednesday.
