Management software can aid in major transportation projects

The bulk of federal funds stemming from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act may be put to use next year, as major transportation projects ramp up. Among the biggest is New York's East Side Access Project, which will connect two railroad lines in Queens to a new terminal below Grand Central station. Some firms are moving to new technology to help cope with these large projects.
