Suspect in Delta bomb scare claims Ambien made him do it

The former Air Force intelligence specialist charged with threatening a trans-Atlantic flight on Tuesday says his bomb threats were prompted by an Ambien overdose. After the Delta Air Lines flight made an emergency landing in Bangor, Maine, Derek Stansberry told federal Air Marshals he had taken eight of the sleeping pills, causing him to believe he was being followed and must protect classified information.
